My specialty is weddings, but I also do portraits, family photos and a variety of other types of photography. What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Anyone can buy a camera and call themselves a photographer. Be sure that while interviewing potential photographers that you ask what kind of background they have. Have they been hired for photography before by someone who is otherwise a perfect stranger? Have they ever photographed children or pets? This question is especially important because children and pets are the hardest to photograph because they don't always do what you want.
