About
To sing for forty years on the world's great opera and concert stages is no mean feat. However, to sing three repertoires on those stages for the last twent-five years shows a modicum of talent, but more importantly is a testament to a quality vocal technique. For more than thirty years I have been teaching, developing a methodolog that opens the doors of this career to the young, intermediate and accomplished professional singer. Contrary to popular belief, there is no shortage of talent. One cannot tip-toe through the tullips and not trip over a beautiful voice. However, singing well is something else again. A quality vocal technique will open every door to this art form, while less then quality singing will keep those doors tightly closed. I like opening those doors.

FAQs

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

If you have 20,000 voice teachers. 19,999 bad ones and 1 good one, (that's about the ratio, by the way). The bad ones are not going to understand the profession. If a teacher teaches bad or inferior technique to a violinest or to a pianist, the next teacher can correct the problems with no harm done. Nothing happens to the piano or the violin. However, if a voice teacher teaches bad or inferior technique a singing voice that voice could be ruined. Beware!
