FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I generally quote a job by the amount of hours. With enough information, I can quote the entire project with a fixed fee. If the job extends past the initial goal, I can add an additional hourly fee or requote the new job. I will work with you to come up with a reasonable quote or an hourly rate.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
-I discuss the depth of the project, the timeline and the style the customer would like to convey for the company and any marketing plan going forward. Research recent trends, themes, fonts and the competitive market. Deliver several design options using various layouts, paper stocks, and color ways. Narrow down the colors, fonts and layout. Create mechanicals and digital files for production according to the printing and online needs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
After receiving a BFA, I worked for a renown architect in NYC. I then went on to receive a textile design degree from Fashion Inst. of Technology. With my elegant color sense and passion for home furnishings, design, layout and typography, I pride myself as an innovative and style oriented designer, demonstrating a high level of taste in the development of pretty patterns and trendy designs. As an Art Director for 14 years, I designed high end fashion tabletop products for desk accessories, stationery, invitations, tableware, bags and paper party goods.
