Introduction: Stephanie was bitten by the therapy bug early
on, joining the Peer Helper Program through
Madison Youth & Family Services at a young age.
She also volunteered her time through high school
and college counseling teens who were having
difficulties at home, in school & in other social
situations.
Stephanie attended Albertus Magnus College
where she earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree
in Psychology & Art Therapy. After which, she
completed her Master of Arts Degree in Clinical
Mental Health Counseling at Union Institute &
University.
Stephanie is board certified and licensed by
the State of Connecticut and specializes in
adolescence and adult counseling. She works
with clients suffering from depression, anxiety,
grief & post traumatic stress disorder. Some
of the techniques she employs include CBT,
Hypnotherapy, Aromatherapy, Person Centered, &
Family Systems.
Stephanie believes in educating clients about both
the psychology and biology behind her treatment
techniques as well as the impact they can make in
her clients’ individual lives. With that philosophy
in mind, she is very active in continuing her own
education and frequently attends conferences to
broaden her knowledge psychology.
