We feel that every customer should get the same amount of attention that any of us would if we were working on our own properties. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing for our work is based upon how indepth and difficult the project is. We do not price a job differently just because a property is in a more affluent area. The pricing for our work is uniform across the board.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We do continue to educate ourselves all the time. There are plenty of clinics and trade magazines that contain great articles and tips. The best education that we get is from our own experiences doing the actual work. Every project is unique. The basics are the same but the individual aspects of the job are different and help us with future projects.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Many years ago, I was selling cars. I was very good at what I did and make a great living. Unfortunately the dealership closed up. I was out of work and looking for another car dealership to work at. A good friend of mine was doing landscaping and offered me a chance to make some money while I was looking for work. It ended up that I learned the business and started out doing it myself about 2 years later. I started a business in my area that I lived in and built it up from there.
