- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have to take in consideration my traveling to far distances, the time it would take to prepare particular dishes, whether the ingredients are premium or not, the special needs of the customer/student, if there's more than one or two participants.(class only). The situations all vary so I have to take each job, and come with a fee that meets my needs as well as the client's! A repeat customer will get a 10-15% discount for future orders or for a referral who does their business with me!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to know the customer’s ultimate goal. Good-Great Food, pleasant atmosphere, quick yet pleasant service, or just to have someone else to prepare the meal! So I ask questions and make suggestions, I’m very adaptable to change. I’d like to have a couple of conversations with the client(s) and if possible and necessary, meet with them, at least once, in person before the planned date. *Even a sampling of some the main dishes is possible*. This is all about the client getting their needs met. (And Loving It😊👌🏾!)
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve had my ServSafe Certification since 2010, National Restaurant Association, and recently renewed it on April 27, 2018 *Certificate #16361688 I also have a *Food Service License No. 18-0653 issued 5/14/2018 In September 2010, I took part in the Northeastern Conference Medical Missionary Training, at Omega SDAChurch in New Haven, CT. which included many cooking classes. In 2008, I was trained at Hallelujah Acres, in Washington, DC. as a vegetarian Health Minister. In 1999, I began Training as an Entering Wedge Cook in Exeter, Missouri. About 7-8 yrs. each summer and or fall. In 1975, I attended a Health Training presentation from Uchee Pines Institute(Seale, AL), the presentation was held in New Haven, CT on Humphrey St. I learned the causes to most diseases at that time and became a vegetarian. 2 or 3 years later I attended a Health and Wellness Training by the same company held Victory Lake Camp, Poughkeepsie , NY.
