Samantha was a voice coach referenced to me by several different people. I couldn't have been happier with my decision. I have never connected so nicely with any type of teacher let alone musician. I am blown away by her talent and teaching methods. I have learned many many things and she was always helpful in breaking down every method. I have only gone to Samantha a handful of times and I already see a change in my voice and the health of it. She is a professional and I will continue lessons with her. I would recommend her to anyone who is interested in training for a performance or even to overall better their voice.

Meeting Samantha was the catalyst for great things. She was kind, energetic, and most importantly talented. She put us at ease immediately, especially because he is a shy singer. She asked pointed questions and than had him sing. She provided the critique and advice for improvement. What was amazing was that within that one session, he was already a better singer. I plan to continue to use her, and you should too.

Sam is an excellent instructor who is equally at home teaching pop or classical singing. She has a great understanding of the vocal instrument, and regularly astounds me with her knowledge--better yet, she uses that knowledge to actually help her students improve. Even with her immense knowledge, Sam is immediately approachable and very enthusiastic. She will work with you to find and set attainable goals for your practice, and is comfortable with letting the student select the repertoire--though she also makes great suggestions. My singing has improved so dramatically over the past year, and it's largely thanks to Sam.

Samantha Talmadge is the best thing to have happened to me during my musical four years in college. Samantha gave me tools and homework. I learned technique, different languages, and control. She held me to an extremely high standard and had endless patience. Samantha helped coach my choral voice into a strong, confident soloist. I led my a cappella group, sang in a rock band, was Vice President of chamber choir, and sang with the president of my college at graduation. I attribute my growth and confidence to Samantha, who helped me own my voice. I feel prepared to audition for gigs in the real world, and I know all of her students sing similar praises. If you seek to have a voice teacher who pushes your comfort zone, prepares you professionally, and have a blast along the way, Samantha Talamadge is unparalleled in her field.

Samantha Talmadge was my voice instructor in high school and currently is at Connecticut College. She is an incredible vocalist and an outstanding teacher- her training has prepared her well for helping students to find their own voice and be the best they can be. I have learned so many techniques and new skills, and I have discovered a new level to my voice that I didn't know I had. Samantha is by far the best vocal instructor I've ever had.
