Guitar Lessons with Ty Smith

Introduction: I have always believed that the pursuit of any discipline in the arts stimulates the imagination, fine tunes motor skills, and is generally good for the soul. Learning a musical instrument can be a wonderfully rewarding experience, regardless of the style of music you pursue. I have been playing guitar for 41 years since I was a lad of 10, and I have been teaching for the last 31 years, offering private lessons at a very affordable price. Now, at age 51, I still genuinely love my craft and enjoy interacting with students of all ages and levels! Lessons are given in the comfort of my home studio. You will learn to read music notation, guitar notation, and tablature. I shall teach you the benefits of music theory, improvisation, and good technique. As you progress, I will help you with learning to master the songs that you want to play.
