Creating Unique Faces with Face Painting
Mary Ann Voss' goal was to start a business where she can fulfill her artistic creativity and earn some extra cash along the way. After ordering a kit and practicing, she was prepared to book events and parties, but her fear of not succeeding kept her from starting her venture. It took her nearly a year to build up the courage to get a spot for a holiday fair at the local church. Her airbrush tattoos were such a huge hit at that event that it boosted her self-confidence, and the rest was history.
I always try to make sure that all guests get at least one design during the time that I am at the event.
Her usual customers are parents who want their child's event special and unforgettable. When booked for a party, she always shows up ahead of schedule to set up. She is professionally dressed and is extremely accommodating. Her goal and reward is to put a smile on everyone's faces.
She was involved in a New Year's Eve party at Mohegan Sun Casino and considers it her most successful project. That evening was intense, but she was glad she was able to add more elements of fun during the event. She has also provided her service for the Brooks & Dunn "Last Rodeo Tour" and currently works at a local Haunt to raise funds for the local animal shelter.
Being an airbrush artist/face painter for 7 years, I truly enjoy what I do and look forward to the future challenges and rewards of this business.
