Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Check to see how long they have been in business, and what other clients say about them. You should also see what equipment they use - do they use only the on-camera microphones? Or do they use wireless lapel microphones to better pick up on the vow's, etc?

At Central Mass Video - we encourage anyone to talk to our past clients. We use the latest in HD cameras, professional grade microphones, and we know how to use them! With a Master's from Emerson in Film/Video - we are one of the few wedding videographers on the east coast with professional video training.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Audio is key - bad audio can ruin the wedding video. Far too often novice videographers pay too much attention to "getting the shot" than they due to what the bride and groom are saying to one another.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. - What's your training?

- What equipment do you use?

- Do you work with outside photographers?

- Who is going to be my videographer? (We do not outsource!)

- Can I see a demo video?
