The first time I meet Barbara Jean and Complete party was back in 2014 for my wedding. This company was very professional, prompt and organized. They even helped divert problems away from my husband and me so that we were able just enjoy our wedding day without worrying. I vowed that if i ever had a party again that I would hire Barbara Jean and complete Party again to help. This December, when it came time to throw my brother and sister in law an engagement party, Complete Party was the first place I knew I needed to call. Barbara Jean was so helpful in planning and helping me set up my home for the event. We did not need to lift a finger, and were actually able to enjoy the party at our home. Barbara Jean and Meg were our servers at the party and were very personable and made me feel like a guest in my own home, and allowed for me to be able to enjoy my own party. I highly recommend Complete Party and can't wait to have another event with their help soon.

Brew On9 was a beer crawl through New Haven's 9th Square. It was a sold out event where 250 attendees visited 13 venues and had the opportunity to taste 20+ beers. I hired Complete Party for their bartending services. Barbara was a delight to work with and her staff very professional. The attention to detail was great - each beer offered 6 servings, and the staff had no problem controlling the portions. Set up and tear down went so smoothly. I attribute the success of the event to the expert service received. I plan to hire them in June and again in November.

I was looking for a caterer to provide "just food" for a picnic I was having at my house. Barbara Jeanne was so helpful from our first communication through Thumbtack, and worked with me on setting a great menu and adjusting things to fit my budget. She is very professional, but down to earth, so it was a stress-free process for me! Even when she delivered the food, she was friendly, helpful, professional, and prompt. Then, to top that experience off, the food was generous and DELICIOUS!!! We had pulled pork, chicken fingers, penne a la vodka, mac and cheese, coleslaw, and green salad, and I heard only the TOP COMPLIMENTS for everything! Although I don't have any more events on my horizon, I don't hesitate recommending Complete Party for any event big or small, and I will definitely contact Barbara Jeanne again if I do need a caterer. (I know that they do MUCH MORE than just make food, too!) Definitely a trusted and quality caterer!!!

Was great service Barbara Jean was very professional was a good communicater before the day. The girls were all very well turned out. They were discreet and got the job done . It made my life a lot easier and we have already booked them for next years party. They did a great job serving the food and clean up. The bar tending was excellent and they were quick and efficient.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm involved with the WBDC and continue to further my knowledge and stay up to date with new and better way to provide the best service to my customers. I plan to also be connected with The Chamber who offers a wide verity of educational services.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I knew at 8 yrs old when I asked for a bunt pan as a birthday gift, that one day I would create gathering's where people came to rejoice and celebrate.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We get hired the most to provide bartenders and servers for people's private home parties. Where most woman love to cook for there friends and family, they never get to be a guest at there own party. Hiring Complete Party allows the host to enjoy her/his time with the party and let us worry about the food and drinks and take care of the clean up at the end of the night.
