Introduction: My work stands out from the competetion for a few reasons. First, being a female photographer specializing in glamour work is a huge benefit to my clients. I know what women want to see in their photos and I don't take shortcuts or skip detail work. I can be a perfectionist about posing and my editing, which makes for a better finished product. Second, my experience as a glamour model puts me in the unique position of having been both in front of and behind the camera. I am at an advantage when it comes to helping women find the most flattering poses, angles, wardrobe, styling and makeup because of my own modeling career. Third, my years of experience behind the camera combined with my modern, professional equipment means that the final images I give to my clients are of the highest possible quality. I love my job! Every day is a new challenge, a new opportunity or a new experience. My favorite thing about what I do has got to be the people I meet! Every woman, from college students to soccer moms, becomes a model in my studio. I love seeing a woman's confidence blossom after the first few shots and I always love the emotional experience of a client seeing their finished images for the first time. Nothing compares capturing a special moment in my clients lives when they were confident, vibrant and beautiful! Being a part of that moment means so much to me. I really, truly believe that every woman deserves to have beautiful photos of herself!

SUPERB! From the initial booking of the appointment to the day of the photo shoot & even to the receiving of my album, I can honestly say, it has been such an amazing "journey" dealing with Beth. She is such a genuine, down-to-earth woman & yet SO professional. The way Beth "walked me through" the experience made me feel so "at home". She has such an aurora about her that "reels you in". Her personality is vibrant. She is creative & knows the business. Beth did such an exceptional job with the photos from the lighting to the poses. She knew the how to, when to, the not to, etc. And each step of the way, she always had the professionalism there, but also the "connection" with me to "bring out the best" look for that shot! The finished product was beyond words & made me feel like I was the "model for the day"! :) My husband's "twinkle in his eye" is more than enough to say he was quite pleased as well! I am hoping to go back in the near future for another "creative" shoot! THIS is the woman to go to!!!! I promise, you will NOT regret the experience & will be blown away as I was!

I had THE BEST experience ever with this service . I hate having my picture taken, and I hate my looks, but when Beth was done with me, I was the belle of the ball! . That very nite, when I posted the pictures on 2 dating services I had been using to no evail,I must have gotten over 20 emails, and I had many a great date! All thanks to Lost Highway Imaging and Makeup Artistry! Beth will have to come to Ireland and take pictures of me and my handsome new beau! A Grateful and Happy Costumer

Beth was amazing to work with. She was patient with me every step of the way an made me feel comfortable. She has extensive skill in make up and costume pairing to find what works with your body. At the end of the day my pictures came out breath taking and I enjoyed the expierance throughly.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As a professional, I am committed to staying up-to-date with not only the latest trends in photography, but the latest trends in fashion, lingerie, makeup and styling as well. I attend multiple educational workshops, conferences and retreats every year and I subscribe to numerous industry publications to keep current on technology and trends. I am constantly growing and expanding my skill set to provide my clients with the highest-quality images as well as the best possible experience.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Do your homework! 1) Get references for the photographers you are looking to hire. Ask previous clients what their experience with the photographer was. Any good photographer should be more than happy to give you references. 2) Look carefully at their portfolio. The images present in a photographer's portfolio should give you a clear idea of what their personal style is. You should work with a photographer that has a style you like. These are YOUR images and working with someone that has a portfolio that doesn't appeal to you doesn't make sense. Photography is an art and you should find an artist that you admire. 3) Be sure about pricing and rates up front. My pricing and rates are listed right on my website, which is the case with many other photographers as well. That said, many very reputable photographers don't list their rates on their sites but are happy to provide them with your inquiry. Either way, make sure pricing if clear and straightforward so that you aren't suprised after the fact.
