Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I love to see the owners regain some balance in their lives as they learn how to change their behaviors and develop a balanced relationship with their dog(s)! The look on the owners face when they realize that they can control the outcome when working with their dog just empowers them to be an even better pack leader!

Michael had my dog heeling in 3 minutes. He took the time to show me what I was doing wrong so my dog would listen to me. He answered all my questions and even said I could call with any additional questions. I would recommend him as your dog trainer. Don't look any further you found the best

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My fees are $75.00 per hour. You may bring your dog to me for most areas to be worked on, but most problems are better addressed in the dogs home (where he feels most empowered). Travel time up to 30 minutes are not charged. Travel time after that is billed at $25.00 per hour.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I have been training, breeding, and competing competition field trial dogs for the last 30 plus years. I had a K-9 partner with me for eight years on the road. Upon graduating from the CT State Police K-9 Academy my partner and I were named as the "most obedient". I have always had a way with dogs with a calm and assertive personality. I have trained hundreds of dogs over the years from small to large. I have now retired from the force and I am now able to pursue my passion of working with dogs!

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

The most common problem in dog training is the owners who don't take a dominant position with their canine partner. When the dog is left to fill the dominant role you may experience separation anxiety, aggression or a host of other problems. The dog does not naturally understand the humans world and needs to be guided by the human pack leader! The good news is that dogs live in the present and will quickly change and adapt to a human with a calm and assertive energy!
