Introduction: Instead of endless and sometimes boring technical drills, I pick nice and attractive tunes that serve the same purpose. If I can't find anything appropriate in method books, whether it is a piano, bass, cello or violin, then I write or adapt a piece that is suitable for student's age and ability. The sense of accomplishment when student excels. Building a repertoire of different pieces seem very important for most of my students, so I concentrate on selecting the music that is beneficial in developing technical skills and used as a performance piece.

Peter has been working with my four-year-old son for approximately 6 months on the piano. Peter travels weekly to our home for private lessons. He is always punctual and professional. On several occasions we've had to reschedule a lesson due to weather or illness and Peter has always been accommodating. Most importantly, Peter works very well with my son; he knows when to push him and when he's had enough for the day. In addition, rather than having us spend a fortune on music materials, Peter put together a lesson plan using his own materials - on his own time. I believe my son has improved quite a bit since coming under Peter's direction. He is a dedicated music instructor and I recommend him without hesitation.

Peter has been teaching my 9 year old daughter since Feb 2013. He teaches her violin and piano. She has progressed very quickly. Peter chooses beautiful music for her which she likes and is proud to play. My daughter doesn't have to do drills as I had to do as a child. She just plays music and she loves it and I never have to remind her to practice. My daughter really likes Peter and enjoys her music lesson. Peter is patient, kind, reliable and professional. I highly recommend him.

Peter is an excellent piano teacher. I started with roughly 3 prior lesson and Peter created a custom program catering to my work schedule, ability to practice, and limited natural skills. How did you get started doing this type of work?
I come from the family of educators: my grandparents were elementary school teachers, my stepfather a language teacher, my mother and uncle university lecturers in medicine in electronics respectively.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I provide information on literature and instruments. I also perform routine maintenance and basic instrument repairs, usually at no cost.
