FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is based on the job at hand. We'll work together to look at the time required for a given project and how much work it will entail and plan for a budget that fits within your needs and my expectations.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attend conferences on journalism, editing, digital media, technology social media and marketing on a regular basis in order to make sure I'm at the forefront of trends and best practices. I also read key publications in many fields to stay well-rounded.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Don't hire based solely on price. Not every writer or editor has the same level or type of experience and you need to look at portfolios to determine if that professional is the one for this project. Some writers who are not as good will ask for big fees to seem like they are more established than they are, so select base don the work, not the bottom line.
