- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common requests are Virus Removal and restoring computers to their factory settings. I do a lot of data backup and restoration. I also do consulting work for clients that need a no bull rundown on what they need for equipment and such.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would say being as descriptive as possible about what issues you may be having and to be patient with the results.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I wish people would realize that the most important thing to know about a PC repair technician is that sometimes the amount of time one has in the field doesn't always mean they are experienced. I have come across some very close minded technicians that don't keep up on the latest technologies and trends. I feel if you love technology you will have a natural interest in the future. But most of all you need to understand that the amount of information you need to retain for this kind of work can be overwhelming.
