- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is based on the scope of the project: Project discovery and planning, labor, and the hardware to be installed and configured. All projects are quoted before commencing. Simple projects can be quoted after a brief phone call. Simple troubleshooting is typically completed in less than 2 hours. Complex projects may require a professional discovery and design phase before a project quote can be finalized.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Discuss goals (and success metrics), determine budget, agree on scope, create a project plan with mutually agreed success metrics and execute. Small projects that can be completed in less than 5 days usually require only informal kick off and close out meetings. Longer projects necessitate formal weekly or, in the case of very complex projects, more often, meetings to discuss status, scheduling, design review and other concerns.
