Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. My most common jobs are men between the ages of 17 and 45 who are looking to get into great shape. They want to build muscle and get six pack abs, so they come to me to help them achieve those goals. I am also the former trainer of a 75-year-old man who wanted to be in better, so it doesn't matter how old a client (or potential client) is, if they are want to get into shape, then I will help them do just that.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. My advice is that you should always hire someone who is an advocate of living a healthier lifestyle and seeks to provide others with the tools to adopt this lifestyle; a lifestyle relatively free of common aches and pains associated with not taking care of oneself through proper exercise and nutrition.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. Very few personal trainers come from a competitive bodybuilding background and I do. I mean, how can possibly train someone else to be their best, when you are not training yourself to be your best?

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I love being able to help my clients get the body that they want after not having been able to do so in the past. I also like helping them to adopt a healthier lifestyle which starts with exercise and good nutrition. I have always felt that I have a gift and it would be really unethical of me not to use this gift for good. From children to young adults to adults to seniors, I give of myself and my knowledge without thought because the way that I look and what I know, are gifts that I do not take for granted.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. I often get asked what I eat in order to look the way that I do. I tell anyone who asks me that question that I eat a lot of protein in form of eggs and lean white meats. I eat plenty of vegetables, drink plenty of water, and take supplemental vitamins. And I often get asked how much time I spend in the gym and the answer is usually five to six days per week, 60 to 90 minutes per training session. The goal is to get the most results in the shortest period of time-get in and get out so that I can refuel my body with muscle-building and fat-burning nutrients.
