I offer private and group voice lessons for all levels. Private piano lessons are provided for beginners to advanced intermediate in my studio in NW Washington, DC.

I am new to the DC area from Memphis, TN with many years of professional experience in all areas of the performing arts. I have taught literally hundreds of students who have succeeded well in voice, piano and performance. These include 2 Miss Tennessee winners, a star search performer in Hollywood, CA, a dancer on Broadway and many piano students who have continued in advanced classical studies and performance competitions.

I am a published author of a 25-topic self-enrichment and etiquette study for children and teens starting at 6 to 8, 9 to 12 and 3 to 17 groupings called "I'm A Fruit of The Spirit Kid". This is a Christian study but is also adapted in secular format.

My 6-week classes begin with topics such as self image and address attitude, eye-to-eye contact, being a good friend, modesty is in, being a lady, being a gentleman, telephone etiquette, attitude, respect and so much more. These wonderful studies are jam packed with scene studies of the world's behavior for both boys and girls which easily creates class discussion and awareness with desire to want to correct bad behaviors.

Music and staging highlight tingles with fun to do staging. The course ends with formal dining and graduation in which students set the table for their parents and serve them a delicious dessert. Parents and teachers, this is just not a simple little manners class. This study is all about being a quality person who does the right thing when no one is looking.

The end result is a polished person who walks with poise and dignity because these 6-week studies will teach them to respect and value who they are, their elders and the world around them.

Soon, there will be my "Home School Mom's Teacher's Guide To Christian Etiquette", which can be bought together with my student's workbook, "I'm A Fruit Of The Spirit Kid". This is a special opportunity for you as a mom and other moms to teach your own children self-enrichment and Christian etiquette studies. You will want to tell other moms, your church, organization or club about this valuable opportunity to spread the word having fun teaching and educating children and teens for profit.

Bring your children and teens to my classes. It will be an investment in your child that you will never regret.

Southern Grace Place USA is completely about teaching expression and excellence in music and bringing out the very best in America's youth!

Write Dr. Estrada a note to inquire for more information about having your children enroll in her up-coming classes.

Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Look for a teacher with lots of experience teaching music and self-enrichment studies.. Ask questions about education and where and who was taught. Look for intelligence, motivation and dedication. references from other parents and students. Take one lesson and see if you have a good fit with this teacher, and the teacher should do the same.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. I would want my parent or student to know my background and experience in music and the performing arts, which is available for a parent or student to read in my resume and bio.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. My work in music goes back a life time from the moment I saw a professional singer on stage at age three. I have sung all my life and I have performed in every medium of the performing arts as a professional singer and dancer.

I have owned 4 music studios and taught hundreds of students the meaning of professional commitment and focus while learning to sing and play piano.

My work as a teacher of music is passionate and exciting. I am a motivator, inspirator to the maxx!! It is just the way I teach. I give my all and I can't hold back if I have a student who is in the game with me. I do not work with lazy students. Let them go ease where..........

There are good teachers and then there are great teachers......I want to feel in my heart that I am one of he later.

Dr. Jeanne

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I like to watch my students bloom, excel and go out and share their gift.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. How long will I need to study voice?

How long will I need to take piano?

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. yes. I am in the business of teaching music and etiquette. I wish the world knew about my work!!!

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. God whispered it in my ear and put it all in my heart.

Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?

A. I would listen to my heart first. There is a inside each person that whispers "I am good at this". You must test your waters, too. Get feed back from others about your music whether you sing or play an instrument, or both. Go to music school and learn all you can. The more knowledge you have about something you love, the more cards you have to play with............... I know this from experience.
