Writing is one area where the student's age isn't important. What matters is the desire to tell a story that captures the imagination and leaves the reader wanting more. Children are natural story tellers until adults tell them how difficult it is.
Her workshops aren't only for children, but for aspiring adults as well. She is dedicated to level with the students' skills and provide them with efficient tools and constructive feedback to bring out the creative writer within.
The positive feedback I receive from parents, the amazing stories the kids write, and the progress made by the adult writers, some even going on to publish for the first time, reinforce my belief that there is a real need for what I do. The positive comments and recommendations are appreciated but my real reward is watching their talent and confidence grow.
