    Michael was very professional! He was able to get my computer and fix it within 48 hours! My computer had viruses and my kid had messed with the DVD drive. Michael fixed everything with a smile. He gave constant updates via texts too! I would recommend him to my friends and family. I have also taken my tablet to him!

    I hired Michael Payton to do upgrading on some of my computer systems. He called me and setup up a time that was appropriate for me, which was one of the first things I liked. He arrived at my home promptly at the scheduled time. He was well dressed, courteous and well spoken. He is very easy to listen to and I felt very comfortable with what he had to say. My computer was returned in 36 hours fully operational. I did run it through itís paces looking for faults. I found none and I was completely satisfied with his work. I have been calling all my friends explaining what Michael Payton did for me and I would readily recommend him to do services for them. Should I need any further work on my computer systems or upgrades, heíll be the first one I call.

    Some how I had gotten my computer infected with an unknown virus. tried to correct the problem on my own, but hadn't the skill to do so. Michael was recommended to me by a friend and I'm glad I took my computer to him. He worked very hard to repair all that was wrong with my system. It now runs like brand new. If you're in need of repairs, don't hesitate to call him! He's very professional and a pleasure to work with.

    Michael again came through with helpful knowledge on my business computer, which crashed. Due to budget constraints on my part, Michael worked with me to replace the hard drive, reinstall and set up my Network b/t laptop and desktop.     Michael was punctual and professional. He offered a free diagnostic for the screen issue that I was having with my laptop. In this incidence, I opted to replace rather than repair, so I can't speak to his repair skills, but was very happy with his service. His "free" diagnostic was truly free. You do not find that often anymore. He picked up and returned my laptop with service and a smile.

    Michael runs a great business. I came to him asking for a quote to give to my insurance company when water was spilled on my laptop. He gave me a quote in less than 12 hours and gave me the amount that he thought the computer was worth. The insurance company respected his descriptive opinion so much they gave me exactly how much Michael quoted me for. I will definitely go back to Geek Tweek for all of my computer problems.

    About a month ago my mother's computer got a very nasty virus. I took the computer to a guy that had worked on both my mother's and my computer in the past and had always done a good job. He had the computer for two and a half weeks. It had to be restored because of a "recycle bin contamination". He finally emailed me and said that the computer was fixed. As soon as the computer was back online, we could tell immediately that not only was it not fixed, but it was a real mess. The next day I went online to see if I could find someone else who might look at it. Saw the web site for Geek Tweek and noticed that they offered a free diagnosis. Well, the price was right, so I called. In two days Mike completely fixed all of the problems, restored the computer, and it now looks beautiful and works great. The price was reasonable, and I just can't say enough good things about the work. I definitely recommmend Geek Tweek LLC and I am one happy and grateful customer.

    Annoying pop-ups were received for a couple of days. On-line advice failed. I remember Geek Tweek, and checked for help.

    After e-mailing Sir Michael, in as timely manner he e-mailed not just a solution; but the needed remedy. The problem was with a previous download that contracted the ssvagent pop-up.

    i called geek tweek because of problems with my computer. mike arrived at my home within 15 minutes. wow! he was willing to work within my budget and the next day he called to let me know what was wrong with it. he gave me details i could understand. although it wasn't worth fixing, they were willing to help me find one that would work for me, within my budget. just think! good service, quick and honest, and reliable.     Mike had the task of moving a complete computer system from one room to another; included the monitor, printer. tower, and all perrifial equipment. Sever problems were identified and solved by Mike. My system is up and running in an excellant manner. Mike also loaded several new programs which were very complex. The service I received was excellant. I will call him again when the need warrants.

    Michael did a very good job of fixing the problem we had with our computer. He went the extra mile to fix our personal computers as well. He is very knowledgeable and took the time to do what was necessary to solve the problems with our computer and also our personal computers. He also double checked to make sure everything was working properly. I highly recommend him to anyone that had a problem with their computer.

    I was going to purchase a new computer considering mine is three years old, and had far too many problems for anyone to fix. I know Mike the Geek, thought I would have him take a look first, and I am very happy I did. Within 24-hours Mike had fixed my computer and it runs as good, if not better than the day I purchased it.     I recieved outstanding support when I encountered a number of computer viruses. Two of my laptops and a desktop had old operating systems.     We were very pleased not only with the service but how fast Mike takes care of things. My husband and I talked with him on a Sat. about our laptop and another computor. Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Viruses...nasty little devils. They are pain to have and sometimes a fearful thing to those that can't fend for themselves in this deceiving .com generation. But rest your fears, we'll take care of it...no worries.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Make the call. Customer service is conveyed through conversation and the provider will be willing to go out of their way for the customer. Make the call.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. i wish i knew how to operaste my computer better and maybe know some inside secrets like why this works "this" way. i, as a provider, am not afraid to educate my customer on reasons why computers do what they do. if I know I will share. If i don't, I'll try to find out for you.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. Do you have the experience?
Have you done this before and how long have you been in the trade?
Anyone that recommends you?
Do you work with payment? Such as, I can pay you Tuesday, even though the work is done, can I pay you Friday?

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. Q: Do I want my machine fixed?
A: If yes, call me.
Q: If I need a new machine, am I willing to allow Geek Tweek to help me purchase a new one?
A: If yes, call me.
Q: If there is no solution, will Geek Tweek still charge me?
A: Absolutely Not!

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. Well, first of all, we give a detailed diagnostic about your PC (we tell you what's wrong.) Well, everyone does that right? Well, do they do it for free? Do they give you the option to walk out without paying us a dime with the full knowledge of what's wrong with the PC now? No. They don't. We do. Why? Because we care about your PC and we want it running at optimal performance, just like you do.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. Oh my. Servitude. I like to serve my customers, I'll come over late if I have to to see you happy. Anxious to get on Facebook, Twitter...or maybe just online. Maybe you just want your PC back. If it's done, I'll bring it when you want. I'm on your schedule. I work for you.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. Can my files be saved? Do i need a new computer? Can I pay you Friday? To be honest, my answers are all, YES. Look, it's a tough economy. Who carries $350.00 on tap for an unknown virus that crashes the machine and restoring the system is a must? Not me, possibly not you either. Match our prices and then ask, can i pay you on Friday, even though the work is done...and I'll say yes.

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. I wish they knew how honest I am about the work I do. I'll tell you up front, you know, no gimmicks. If it's not worth fixing, I have to tell you. I can't tell you that it's upgradeable and it doesn't satisfy your multitasking craving...I can't do that. I hope my customers see the passion I have for the business they bring me. I have lots to do and like to get it done, the first time and give you the tools and knowledge to stay protected online so you'll come back again or even refer a friend.

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. This may sound odd, but I am really proud of a job I did recently. A customer (returning) told his "tech" friend who "knew' what he was doing, that he was bringing not one, but 3 computers to me because he TRUSTED me to do what was right with his PC and 2-laptops. I did one of the jobs for free...he was blown away.

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. I read everything tech. I try to stay up on everything, especially in my field. But you can't keep up with the "joneses" at all times.

Better to focus on your field of study to provide the best service possible, otherwise you have lots of knowledge and no focus.

Q. Describe your most recent project, what it involved, how much it cost, and how long it took.

A. My most recent project was a laptop, that had a cracked screen, and a severely damaged motherboard.

I told the customer my thoughts and I understood that fixing this machine was going to be a major undertaking especially for a college student. I gave him his options, even though the machine could not be repaired by me and I made no money on the job, but made a friend and trusted customer now.

A. i don't get paid by the hour, so time-is -money. I give you a price, if it takes me longer, I lose out. I have to be accurate.

Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?

A. First, love it. If you don't love the technology and aren't amazed by it daily...change professions. Lots of money (and no passion or drive) only bring headaches. Number 2: Love your customers. be personable. Someone sick in the family? Ask about them. Call and check or follow-up on recent work. Make sure the customer is not just happy, but well pleased.. It means the world to them and the growth or decline of your business.

A. How do you compete being a small business with larger businesses in the area and with thir ability to reach more customers than you?

First of all, The Geek doesn't "bash" other companies. I don't believe its right nor is it tasteful. Because of recent commercials, I have seen long time customers of a certain car manufacturer decide to never buy one again all because of distasteful advertising and lack of customer service. We allow our work to speak for itself. Read our growing list of testimonials. Those are "well pleased" customers, not simply satisfied with the work. So in order to compete, though we do advertise in any venue we can, we don't "bash" other companies, we let their work speak for them.
