I just bought my first house only to find I had old grey plastic waterlines. I called and scheduled an appointment, they came out and replaced all of the old pipes. The price was over a thousand bucks lower than other companies.

We had a major water leak under our driveway. My husband and I called some of the bigger service companies, and we got a bigger estimate too. Brian came out on a Friday evening, his quote was $2,045 less than the "big" service company. They even replaced the concrete section of our driveway, the other estimate didn't include concrete!

All I can say is bigger is not better or less expensive!

Fantastic! I would refer ANS Services in a heartbeat! They were prompt, professional and gave my wife and I several options for our solar water heater. The price was 40% less than the other companies I got quotes from. Our electric bill has been reduced from $420 to $450 a month to $140 a month! I cant say enough about these guys....Give them a call!

Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Residential Service, Installation & Repair.
Renovations, Demolition & Excavation
Business & Commercial Services
Development & Professional Consultations
Construction Management & Project Management

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Make sure they are licensed and insured. References are good from customers, both residential or commercial. Pictures are nice but dont be fooled a lot of contractors and service people have "protfolios" that are bought or doctored up. If it sounds to good to be true, or the price is super low compared to other estimates or proposals, watch out!

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. General knowledge, recognize good workmanship. Ask questions. Challenge the service professional. On large projects offer some sweat equity on things like demolition or clean up / removal to save you money! Use "The Rule of 5" email me for that secret!

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. Options from the company you are hiring to perform a job is critical. 99% of jobs / projects have options. they can range from a budget price to the full boat! If a Service Company does not give you options on a job / service or project they are usually after your money not your best interests. Remember options build value!

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. Key Project Details, is this a short or long term fix?
How long do I plan on owning the property?
Impact of the project as to the entire property?
how are my neighbors? did I notify them of the proposed work that is to be done & do I need a waiver to access their property to complete my project. Do I need plans and engineering approval.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. We Provide Professional Prompt Service for all of your home and business needs!
Our service professionals treat your home or business as their own. Pride in our work and service long after the work has been done.

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. *June 2011 - Received GasTite Certification.

*May 2011 - Re-Certification Trac-Pipe.

*March 2011 Certified to install X-Press Copper Piping, a solder-less alternative for our customers.

*November 2010 - Geothermal Installation in Newark, DE. Carrier four ton unit with four vertical wells.
