FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Absolutely. I have an informal panel of elders who advise me on a regular basis "eminence grises," as the French call it. I tap them for a number of things on my mind. I follow what the brightest minds in the field are doing. I read their books and pay to take their classes. I travel to places I haven't been to meet new people. It's a great way to keep yourself open-minded and learning at each turn. I research intensely for the books that I write and publish. I insist upon informed, clear, honest, lesser-traveled knowledge flying from our presses.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
1. I've been inspired most by voids perceived in the marketplace. So few individuals on this planet can balance creativity with sound business sense. Many have one or the other. The combination is a rarity, and I've been able to cultivate it for ESTMKTG. I push our ongoing learning and development in this area on a weekly basis. 2. Also, with so many people motivated to grow businesses, there's never been such an exciting time to be in creative services and marketing. There's such variety in the work that I never get bored or worry that my talents could go stale.
