My interest has always been in beauty. As a young girl, I knew it was what I wanted as a career. I started working in the beauty business at Safire McMillan Canale Salon in Malibu, California at the age of 17. First, as the receptionist, I moved up to shampoo girl and then apprentice under Bernie Safire. He was my mentor and friend and introduced me to some of Hollywood's biggest celebrities. As time passed, I realized hair was not my passion and started to focus on skin and makeup.
I moved to Australia at 19 and did various freelance work at salons, while attending college, but my heart remained here at home in the states.
Upon returning to the states I went to work for MAC while living in South Carolina. I loved working at the makeup counter and helping people look their best, but soon realized I wanted a more personal relationship with my clients.
After moving to Florida and attending the Florida College of Natural Health to obtain my license in Esthetics. I not only could help women look their best with makeup, I could also show them how to have a beautiful canvas on which to create any look they want to achieve.
