I am a DJ with 16 years of experience. I specialize in wedding receptions. I have state-of-the-art equipment including all wireless microphones, dance floor lighting, and over 20,000 selections that are updated weekly.
I show up on time and always dress appropriately for the occasion. I play what you want to hear and at the volume that you want to hear it. I will meet with you beforehand to go over all of the details and make sure that your event goes smoothly. I coordinate with the other vendors, photographers, caterers, etc. to ensure that everything flows seamlessly.
I will do whatever it takes to make your event as special as possible. That's my job; I'm your DJ.
Question and answer
Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
A. I specialize in weddings, but I do many more types of events. Birthday parties, Corporate events, Anniversaries, Theme parties, Festivals, Fraternity/Sorority parties, are just some of the many events I do on a regular basis. My equipment is very versatile in that I can do very small venues (-50 people), as well as large (500 people +) events. I am well versed in all genres of music; Rock, Pop, Country, Rap/Hip-Hop, Standards, Classical, Oldies, Alternative, Jazz, Blues, and so on... I also have television and movie themes and soundtracks available as well.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. I don't use substitutes. When you hire me, you get me. I do my homework. In other words I gather as much information as I can in advance in order to put together an agenda for myself and always be several steps ahead. Preparation is the key to a successful event. I treat each customer as an individual. I don't use 'formulas'. Every event I do is customized to fit the exact needs of that particular customer. I am usually the first to arrive and the last to leave. I love my job. I enjoy what I do and it reflects in how I do it.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I enjoy meeting people. I love to see people having a great time and knowing that I helped to make that happen. I have performed at thousands of wedding receptions and It makes me feel good to have been a part of one of the most important days in my customers lives. I feel very fortunate to be able to do what I do.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. Q: What do you wear?
A: I dress appropriately for the occasion. If it requires a tuxedo, no problem. If it is more casual, I go with the wishes of the customer.
Q: What kind of music do you play?
A: I play whatever the customer wants and at the volume where the customer is most comfortable.
Q: Do you take requests?
A: Yes, I carry over 20,000 selections, hand-picked by myself, based on the probability of being requested. I update my selections weekly in all genres. I also provide a DO NOT PLAY list for my customers. This ensures that if they don't want to hear a particular song at their event, they won't have to.
