- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 40 plus hours of professional Photoshop training. I am always attending seminars and watching webinars about photography and photo editing. I search pinterest for creative ideas and techniques. In addition, I frequently meet with other photographers to share ideas, locations and techniques to offer the most creative options possible to my customers. - How did you get started doing this type of work?
Sherri's Island Images was born out of my love for photography. I am so blessed and grateful to be following my dream as a portrait and wedding photographer in Bradenton and on Anna Maria Island. At age 41, I returned to school to get my journalism degree and ended up taking some photojournalism classes and I knew that was where I needed to be I graduated with a photojournalism degree, one of my proudest accomplishments. I carry that pride to you in a commitment to make your photographs the best they can be.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I do senior portraits, beach portraits, maternity, babies, children, beach, real estate property, sports and individual, group and corporate portraits. Special events such as Quinceañera, Bat and Bar Mitzvah, Holiday events, Confirmation, First Communion, Birthdays, Anniversaries, Daddy Daughter Dances.
