I offer candid children's photography.

When I was a child, I hated getting my picture taken; I either blinked or gave a funny face trying not to blink. My goal is to take candid shots of family and friends doing what they really enjoy. This way, we catch the real smile and enthusiasm for the perfect picture.

My mission statement is: my job entails coming to your child care facility or any other place where you would like pictures of your client’s children. I take as many pictures as possible in several different poses, playing sports, or at a park with friends and parents. The point is to have fun; the more the genuine smiles, the better.

After all the photos are taken, I will start the editing process with all pictures taken to change the lighting or other editing. The corrected photos are put on a master CD for your facility. You also have the option to order prints from me at a wholesale rate, and sell those to parents, or use as decorations.

My rate is fifty dollars an hour, and one hundred dollars for the master CD for all your cropped, corrective lighting, and other general editing in order to make the pictures perfect.

Company goals and objectives are: my goals for the coming 5 years is to turn this small mobile photography to a company, and turn it into a well-oiled machine where anyone can get the best picture of themselves to preserve their place in life.

Business philosophy is: my photography business is only as good as the promises it keeps to the client. Customer service is extremely important, and is my number one priority.

I market my services to couples, families, weddings, preschools, private schools, after care facilities, and parties. You name it; I’ll figure out how to get it on film. My goal is to change photography all together. I absolutely hate school pictures (as I’m sure we all do). Instead of those hanging up on your wall, or sending them to your relatives, you spend an hour with me doing your child’s favorite past time, and have a great picture of your child having fun, instead of squinting and not sitting still.

Incentive I offer is: in most cases, portions of profit (at least 20%) earned from parents buying portraits or CDs will be donated to your facility or charity of your choice.

Please visit my website for review of my photos. Contact me via email or phone if you would like to set up an appointment for a candid or portrait shoot, or to discuss any questions you may have.

We took April with us to a park to have some family photos made (my husband, 20 month old son and me). She must have taken about 100 pictures at least. I was AMAZED at the job she did. She captured some of the most precious pictures we have.... real, genuine smiles and the three of us having a great time with our son. With April, you don't get stiff, posed pictures... you get memories of your fun times captured in a photo.
