- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, I make sure that I stay food safety certified, pay attention to the news to stay abreast of any food recalls.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I used to host a lot of parties for military members that didn't have family. Then, I decided to go to work for a very popular caterer in a very big city. When I saw how she made her food, and how it tasted, I knew then, if she could do it, I certainly could!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common types of jobs I do for my clients, are wedding receptions. However, I have worked graduation, birthday parties, outside BBQ's, 25th wedding anniversary party, Christmas parties, and cooking/serving 3 days per week at a Corporation's lunchroom.
