I provide makeup services for any occasion. Weddings, bridal showers, baby showers, bachelorette parties, birthdays, makeovers, makeup parties, photo shoots, photography print, fashion shows, makeup lessons, you name it! - What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I encourage and advise prospective clients to take time to look at a makeup artists portfolio and reviews. When hiring a professional makeup artist, it's because you want to look your best. Pictures are memories that last forever... let me work with you to create a timeless look :)
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
There are hours of planning, prep work, and organizing that goes in to preparing for appointments. Most customers don't take think of that behind-the-scenes stuff when paying a makeup artist for their services. Also- the complexity of makeup artistry. Makeup IS a form of art. Just like you wouldn't trust anyone with a paintbrush & a canvas to paint you a portrait- Having your makeup professionally done isn't something that you can just trust anyone with. A professional is educated in many areas of the trade including but not limited to: Face shapes, skin tones, skin colors, skin types, eye shapes, eye colors, lips, textures, cleaning and keeping your kit sanitary, business formalities, etc. No two faces are the same and a good makeup artist knows how to enhance the beauty and work with each and every face. It's important to keep up on the current trends and continue education at any given opportunity.
