I met Carolyn over 20 years ago when she was the Ombudsman in Tallahassee, Florida. The Ombudsman is a volunteer position where the individual comes into a senior care community to assist families, residents or staff members to come up with solutions to issues raised by anyone of the parties listed above. Carolyn is a problem solver, a people person, a compassionate person, and did her utmost to find a win/win solution for all parties concerned. I worked with Carolyn for several years and later, when Carolyn became a licensed nursing home administrator, I would correspond with Carolyn by phone for trouble shooting purposes or her vast amount of information as it related to geriatric care management, senior care and senior living. Carolyn always goes above and beyond in providing services to any of her clients as an educator, mediator, regulator, or operations person.
