A. Check to make sure the pest control operator is licensed by the state of Fl and has proof of insurance
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. I enjoy sharing my knowledge with my customers so they know what is going on and what areas need improvement.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. First they need to make sure the company is legitimate and can they be reached when needed. Who will be doing the actual work and what experience do they have. Also will they show up within the scheduled time frame.
Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?
A. I always ask potential customers what is it they did not like about there last service provider. What are the customers expectations and what areas would they like to see improvements.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. Most larger lawn and pest control companies send a technician to do the work. The technician can have as little as 2 weeks of training and is on his own. With Promo Lawn & Pest the certified operator is on each property and is able to make decisions based on your lawn and landscapes needs.
Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?
A. I started mowing lawns when I was 18 working for a few different companies for about 10 years and In 1992 I started Promo Lawn Maintenance. I knew I had a passion for the industry and through a lot of hard work went into pest control with 30 years of green industry experience.
Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?
A. Yes as a certified pest control operator I am required to take ceu's every year to renew my licence. I also attend lawn care seminars and follow new productsand evaluate them before using them on a customers lawn.
