Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. The most common jobs I do are starter sites, graphic design (both web and print) and book covers and online publishing.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Make sure that your getting what you pay for. A web/graphic designer should work close with their clients to get plenty of feedback on the direction and progression of the project. Even though the designer is the pro, and will know ways that can enhance your projects effectiveness...you know your business!

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Just remember that a website is more than meets the eye. Make sure that your designer builds your site to be noticed by search engines. Otherwise customers may never even get to your site to see all you offer.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. After explaining the job to a service professional ask them to give their thoughts and grasp of the project (in their own words) to make sure that they actually understand your vision. A quality service professional will normally do this without you ever asking.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. Some of the main questions a client needs to ask themselves before contact a service provider are:
Can I clearly explain what I want the end result to do for me?
Do I have the funds to complete my project properly?
What is my time frame for this project?

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. My work stands out from others because I work close with my customers to ensure that they get more than they thought they could out of their project.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. The thing I like the most about what I do is that I get to bring my client's visions and imaginations to life by offering them an end product that goes above and beyond what they thought was possible. Having a graphic advertisement or a website advertise your business is one of the smartest thing a business owner can do. Its like paying an employee to do a job once, but the job is always getting done.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. The thing I am asked the most is: "Have you done a project like this before?" My answer is: "Although I may have done a project like yours in the past, all my projects turn out unique because of the vision of the client." The client needs to know above all else that B. Hunt Designs cares about our customers and their input on every project we do.

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. There are always online classes that we have to take to keep sharp in our trade. Not to mention the creative seminars from some of the venders of the software we use to create a clients project. You have to keep learning if you want to succeed.

Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?

A. I would suggest that you start with a tutor right off the bat so they can explain the more technical aspects of the profession so you get an early understanding of what you are learning. The more you understand early in the learning process the more you will get out of the profession.
