Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Go to my website and click "reports" and see up to date fishing reports. You'll see that I'm a full time guide and provide exceptional service. On the website there is a testimonial link and also my promise to do everything I can to ensure that your fishing trip is one to remember! Get away from it all and...Let's Go Fishing!

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. How are we going to fish if I'm not a very experienced angler? What type of fishing trip should I expect if I bring my young kids? Why do you recommend no more than 3 anglers? What can we expect if we want to have more than 3 anglers? Why should we be on time for the scheduled departure time?

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. Are you licensed and insured? Do I need a license? If you have to purchase your own license for fishing in salt water then the guide is probably not a licensed captain! Do you clean any legal fish taken? What else do you provide? How long will the fishing trip take? What about inclement weather? What form of payment do you take?

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. You should try and schedule your fishing trip in advance. I sure hate to miss fishing with you but some months the schedule fills up and I can't take another booking. Fall fishing on Amelia Island is the best, but we catch fish year round, even in the winter months. The ideal number of anglers on the boat is (3). I can take more but it gets crowded.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I do my best to provide an proffesional service. I keep my boat clean and in good working order. I give a short safety orientation before the fishing trip. I clean any legal fish and bag them up on ice.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. In addition to heading out of the marina on a beautiful morning with the sun coming up, I enjoy having guests get the thrill of catching their fish of a lifetime. When I hear one of my guests say, "That was the best fishing trip ever", or "That was the biggest Redfish I've ever caught", then I get enjoyment from that.
