FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do have a standard pricing system to help keep the hiring process simple. My quoted price is per event. I do not charge by the hour. It includes at least one hour for set-up prior to the event start time and of course break down. I bring my own set of bar tools and often bring more than I need. The other items may include coolers and tubs for keeping beverages and ice cold and a portable 6 ft table with a bar top if a bar is needed. The only time I charge extra is if we mutually agree that I will purchase an item requested. However, I will submit receipts for those items for reimbursement and only for the cost of those items.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to keep the process simple as possible for any client. I will want to know more about what the client envisions as a successful event. So usually a phone call to discuss details and answer questions occurs. This often happens before the client has made a final hiring decision. Once they have decided to hire me for their event I will add the event details to my calendar. I don't expect payment until I have provided my services, so payment typically occurs at the end of the event. I enjoy helping new clients, who may have never hired a bartender by working with them on the specific details of their event. This may include what supplies to purchase, how much iced to get, or even creating a few signature cocktails or drink menu.
