Maypo's ice cream has been in business for 16 years in the South Florida area. We bring the ice cream to you or where you want us.

Events (small and large), Day Care Centers, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, Camps, Employee/Customer Appreciation Days, Grand Openings, Weddings, Graduations, Family Reunions.

We are licensed, insured and park approved. We renew every year our Health Certificate with the Department of Health.

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Birthday Parties, Employee & Customer Appreciation Days, Charity events, Camps, School, Day Care Centers, Launching of Products, Graduations, Family Reunions, Weddings, Picnics, BBQs...say it with Ice Cream!!!

Q. Describe three recent jobs you've completed.

A. With our truck and our cart were part of a 'circus' created in Jupiter Island as part of a week-long farewell festivities for snowbirds. We brought the ice cream cart to an Indian reservation where the kids just loved the ice cream treats!, and we also attended this last week-end a Bat Mitzvah at a local park

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Just ask about my prior experiences and then sit back and analize...their ideas and my suggestions. It all comes down to what the customer want, and then giving the customer the best possible service so the event becomes memorable for all the guests.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. That we are certified by the Board of Health, we are licensed and insured, and park approved in Broward County.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. If the business is licensed and insured, a clear and complete list of prices, any and all fees that might apply, date/time of the even to make sure availability, and of course, the type of product(s) being offered/hired/contracted.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. Just where they are having the party and about how many guests

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. The Truck, the Ice Cream Cart, and all of the other catering machines are well maintained and spotless so they stand out in the crowd. We take pride in presenting ourselves professionally.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. It's a beautiful thing to see everyone smiling....the young and young at heart

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. Many people ask do you come to my area....We can travel anywhere.

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. Just that I take a lot of pride in what I do.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. It started as a summer job...and I love seeing the people happy not grumpy when they come to the truck

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. I'm proud of every event I do as long as the people are HAPPY

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. No....Well. Actually, life is my teacher and mentor....The more I see how customers are mistreated at places, including myself as a customer, the more I strive to offer a top quality service to my customers.

Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?

A. Just really new products

Q. If you have a complicated pricing system for your service, please give all the details here.

A. A lot of people want hourly pricing...I need to be fair to them & myself...so I only charge what they get!

Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?

A. Times have changed. I suggest that they first work for a company and see if they like the lifestyle, and of they like it, then they might think about going independent.

Q. What is your greatest strength?

A. Customer Service! Like that, with capital letters...We love and respect our customers, and are always giving them tips to make their event the most memorable one without having to break their piggy bank! We would not be in business if it were not for our great customers...and there is no small customer to us...They are all A1!
