- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, Makeup artistry is always changing just as fashion is. You have to keep up! Attend workshops, informational classes, and conventions so you can to keep up with the latest trends. Magazines even give inspiration!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always have been interested in beauty. I loved doing other peoples hair and makeup for them if they were going out for the night. I decided to take it a step further by attending Cosmix School of makeup artistry where I learned all the twist and turns to make up. Cosmix taught me that there is so much you can do with makeup from body painting, beauty, runway, special effects, airbrushing, and bridal! I love how your job is always different each day, meeting new and exciting people and having different journeys throughout.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I am proud that I got to experience Miami International fashion week. It was a great accomplishment to me that I was able to participate in such a big event. I enjoyed every moment of it!
