- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There are parameters. Much is depends on what kind of shoot, how much time is needed to meet the customers desires outcome, and what post-production work is required/needed. More hours can reduce hourly rates, which average $150 ph. Good planning can save time as well as a photographer who is skilled & talented.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Listening to the customer to find out what they are looking for, what they want to see in the outcome of their photographic experience. Then I'd like to add my input so together we all become excited about the shoot and the fun we will have creating special photographs to keep for a lifetime.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a college degree in TV & Film Production. Post graduate education credits from Colombia School of Broadcasting. I was in-house photographer for Vivitar Corporation, which at the time was a very large photography product manufacturer, and they sent me to UCLA to study photography.
