Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I feel that anything you do stands out further if it is done with enjoyment and love. With my profession I get to be invited to spend time with people on some of the best days of their lives, whether it is giving birth to a child, getting married, or a family reunion. It is very hard to narrow my job down to just one thing I like the most. Because it is a package deal. I like everything about my job. But if I did have to pick just one thing, I would have to say the Happiness. I get to see them being happy on the day of the event. And I get to see it again when they relive it through my pictures for the first time.

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

I do a wide variety of photo jobs. I do Weddings, Bridal Showers, Baby Showers, Birthday Parties, Bar-Mitzvah's, Bat-Mitzvah's, Family Reunions, Graduation portraits, and even Generation Portraits. As far as the most common, I would have to say it is a tossup between Weddings & Portraits.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

My first bit of advise is to get to know the photographer. More times than not, you are spending more time with him or her than anyone else on that day. If you have a good relationship with him or her then the day is that much more pleasant.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

That it is not as easy as it looks. You can't just pick up a camera and call yourself a photographer. It takes years of practice, continuing education, and lots of commitment. Also, after the event is complete there are still several hours of work to do in the lab. In the lab there are lighting issues to correct, photo enhancing, and editing.
