Question and answer
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Look for the following certifications or credentials when hiring a resume writer. A writer may have several of the following and/or similar credentials.
*Resume Certification
*TORI Award Nominee
*CPBA (Certified Professional Behavioral Analyst)
*PHR Certification (Professional in Human Resources)
*Bachelor's or Master's Degree
*Real World Experience as a Recruiter, Hiring Leader
Hire a professional who focuses on targeting resumes vs. a one size fits all.
Be sure the individual is a member of an internationally or nationally recognized Career Organization or Resume Organization (or both!)
Ask for samples.
Some writers post them on their web sites, others (like myself) prefer to email their latest work.
Hire an individual who has both creative design expert resume writing format skills as well as technical expert resume writing skills.
This is critical in producing the best expert resume for an executive and best expert resume for a professional.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. Contrary to what many people think, being conservative and traditional is NOT going to get you noticed. Sure, you might make an impression that you follow a rule book. But, being memorable, innovative and demonstrating such qualities is a must!
It is a must in your resume, your personal brand and your communication.
The #1 thing holding people back is themselves.
I turn FEAR into FIRE!! FIRE is what you need in order to grab the attention of the recruiter, interviewer and hiring leader.
FIRE is a secret that I incorporate into all projects and all coaching. FIRE simply put is FACT, INNOVATION, RELATIONSHIPS and EXECUTION. Are YOU on FIRE?
Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?
A. #1 Determine the value of your career and resume.
An expertly written professional executive or professional resume will have the required components to help you achieve success.
If you see your resume as an investment, Resume Writers' Ink, LLC® is the service for you.
I stay current on trends, hold multiple certifications and continue to hone my craft by recruiting for corporations on a consultant basis. I know what gets read and what gets tossed aside.
Think about how much money you are losing by NOT having your resume written by an expert professional resume writer.
Think about your brand and how your brand is perceived on your resume.
Make a commitment to give yourself the best!
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. All services are customized to meet my clients individual needs, attributes, and goals.
As a veteran HR leader, recruiter, corporate strategist, writer, and trend expert, I fold a dynamic results-oriented approach into my work.
Q. Describe your most recent project, what it involved, how much it cost, and how long it took.
A. A project that I completed recently was for a 15 year top performing executive. My client and I worked together to determine a strategy that worked best to move him towards his next career goal (internally with his company) as well as externally.
After taking the DISC profile, my client quickly realized that he was not using his skills to his fullest capacity, even as an executive.
We had several coaching sessions (3 one-hour sessions) over a course of 30 days.
Upon completing the coaching and exploration of next steps, my client realized what he needed to do to be happy both professionally and personally.
At this point, I wrote his first draft resume. He reviewed it, emailed me with edits and within several days the final draft was complete.
Total Time:
DISC PROFILE - 20 minutes (client took it on home computer)
3 one-hour Coaching Sessions (3 hours client and RWI)
Resume Extraction Interview (1-2 hours)
Resume Writing (1-2 days)
Total hours: 18 hours
Price: $1099 **Resume alone was $729 (Executive C-Suite)
