A. When I was 18 years old I took a chance and as a result, got 1/2 a page in a hispanic magazine for one year.

A. I wrote about a meat shop in Miami Lakes. I was really happy to learn that the business prosepered significantly after I wrote the article.

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. I am constantly learning and pushing to keep up-to-date with my field and strive to meet the demands of my customers.

Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?

A. We are in a transition process and becoming more technology savvy!!! Reportes not only report, but have the capacity of covering different areas in the communications field. These days you can find a reporter that is also a video and photo journalist who is capable of editing their work, which is what I do, providing the customer with a complete package similar to a one-stop shop!!!

Q. Describe your most recent project, what it involved, how much it cost, and how long it took.

A. Communicating is a virtue and so is patience!!! My recent project involved a market research, which took a week. The total cost was $300.00 USD.

Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?

A. You really have to love journalism and own it as a part of you. You can't dive into this field wanting to get rich because that is not the case. Be realistic and understand this profession involves lots of risks and sacrifice, but it's one of the most rewarding and fullfilling of all.
