Question and answer
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. I take interest in my students progress. In order for a student to progress he/she must feel comfortable with the teacher. If a student is nervous he/she will never progress. I add humor to the lessons. It is most important that the student enjoys the lessons .
Practice must be fun not a chore. So I introduce an innovative approach using the computer.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. Watching the students progress.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. Will I be able to play piano in a few weeks? Or will I be able to play like Liberacci in 2 lessons?
My answer to this question is the following: Learning an instrument is a slow process. One learns in little steps.
The next question students ask me is: How many hours a day do I need to practice in order do be able to play well?
My answer is the following: It is not the amount of time each day but rather the effectiveness of the practice session. For example , A student can practice 15 minutes a day and learn more that a student practicing 3 hours a day. This is what I teach. Practice only the week points. The passages that can be played well do not need to be practiced etc.
