A. Anyone can take a picture, but not everyone can Make a Photograph. Many people now days choose to have a friend with a camera take their Wedding Pictures thinking they would be the same quality. Great photography not only involves having a decent camera. Great photography involves a keen eye in detail and composition, and sensibility to documenting those decisive moments.
When you are thinking on just letting a friend take pictures and/or video at your event, remember this, there are many snap-shooters out there, but only some good photographers. Always ask for a portfolio when searching for photography services, and choose the one you feel would be able to capture your day based on what YOU like.
