My Style My Way provides a quality product at an affordable price. It was easy to schedule an appointment and Jadee provided excellent customer service. I am definitely going to continue to shop with this company. As for the hair, I have not been able to find the quality for the price. It is definitely worth more than what she is selling it for.

Well after accepting the job of doing my hair, she cancelled on me (last minute might I add) as I was on my way to her place of business. Although she didn't provide me with an explanation (other than "I usually don't do this...") I feel if you knew you weren't going to be able to do my hair, you shouldn't have accepted the job, ANNNND, you should have let me know ahead of time before I wasted my gas (it's not cheap ya know). But maybe someone else will have a better experience.

I am very sorry that she was not pleased with my services, however I agreed to do her hair at a very discounted rate of $40.00 off since it appeared that she was having a hair emergency and had little funds to spare. I also agreed to take her hair appt last minute and agreed to push the appt back to 8:00pm since she did not get off of work until 7:30. However, I had a family emergency that had to be handled right at that particular moment and would not be able to wait an additional few hours to be addressed. I also did not cancel on the client, I offered to do her hair on Saturday, which is one of the original days that she said that she was available. I think that she was already upset about not being able to get her hair done Friday night, so she was not flexible.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was tired of people messing up my hair whenever i would go to the salon, and I was tired of visiting the hair store weekly only to have my poor quality hair extensions shed, tangle, matte up and cause my scalp to itch. I graduated from FSU with a degree in International Affairs, minors in communications and business. My husband gave me the idea that if I am so unhappy with the hair quality then maybe I should find something better and sell it myself! I lightbulb went off in my head and I decided to put my international/communications/and business knowlege to use & turn this idea into an actual business!
What types of customers have you worked with?
When it comes to styling hair, I am primarily in the business of fixing bad sewins and other extension types. I am a multicultural stylist and have found that many people cannot braid all hair types well. I have had to repair and redo TOO MANY Hair-dos to count! When it comes to selling hair, I mostly receive my business through online sales and word of mouth. Alls it takes is one satisfied customer that's willing to spread the word about your services for your business to grow!
