- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a member of the PPA, Professional Photographers Association and I "LIVE" on creativelive.com. With these two memberships, I stay up-to-date on the latest trends and techniques through instructional articles and tutorials.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I am a fine artist with a B.F.A. degree in Visual Communications. Graduating from Jacksonville University in Florida in 1999, my experience includes graphic design, photography, illustration and digital photo retouching. I discovered my passion for portrait photography while working as a retouch artist. I loved the expression on peoples faces and the twinkle in their eyes. I decided to step behind the camera myself in the spring of 2009. With custom settings, props and locations, I found photography to be a wonderful way to express my personal creativity and artistic vision. The experiences I share with my clients are amazing and uplifting. So much laughter and bright smilesI love it! Photography + Digital Art = LOVE
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Portraits are my most commonly sought out sessions. I do the occasional wedding but I excel with one-on-one sessions where personalities really shine.
