Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Get as much knowledge as you can about the type of work you are having done. Their are some good salesmen out there that are still doing the industry and homeowners a dis-service.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Believe it or not most homeowners know nothing about the materials that are used to construct their job. For example, they dont know about Shotcrete vs Gunite and how using one of the two could cost you more or save you in the overall cost of your job-I will say that most of the high end companies are using Shotcrete.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. We still build like we were taught back in the day, we dont cut corners and we do not use inferior products.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I love see the look on the homeowners face we present them with a drawing and actually build what they thought they could only dream of.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. How long have you been in the business? I have worked in the swimming pool trade for 24 yrs.

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. Just because a builder has a license he/she may not have the experience that it takes to do a quality job and know when the subs they have hired are doing a bad job. The State of Florida does nothing to police this in their licensing of the trades.

Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?

A. Energy efficiency in regards to pool pumps and heat pumps not real exciting but the manufacturers are definitely going green.
