Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Check for liability insurance and workers compensation insurance. Do not accept a workers compensation exemption certificate. If they get hurt on your job, they will sue. Do not let any one on your property who is not properly insured.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. How long have you been doing this particular type of work? Do you require a down payment? What type of warranty do you offer and can I see a copy of it? Do you have references? Do you have general liability and workers compensation insurance.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I get to meet different people every day and solve their problems. I always have satisfied customers because I represent top quality products. I stand behind all my work.
Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?
A. I was selling a different product and the general contractor on the job asked if I had ever heard of spray foam. I researched it and when the contractor sprayed the job, I started selling for him. 6 months later I opened my own company. I have been at it over 10 years now.
Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?
A. The new high tech coatings for the underside of roof decks that stop over 80% of radiant heat transfer are affordable solutions to many of the Florida problems. We use Heat Bloc Ultra which has the best rating of any in the market. Our customers are experiencing 22-28% total savings on their power bills.
Q. Write your own question and answer it.
A. What can a residential customer expect to pay for their monthly power bill in the hottest months?
The average homeowner with a pool should average about $.10/square foot in the hottest months. That would be $200 for a 2000 square foot house. If you have more you should be calling me to provide a solution.
