A. Home theater systems, home automation systems, security and camera systems, computer networking, whole house audio video systems

A. Make sure they are licensed, insured, and are certified in all aspects of the job

A. What items have the most mark up?
its the little items that have the most mark as opposed to the big items

A. They should know who is going to use the system, what is their budget, how they want to use theirs system

A. 16 years of experience, certified and qualified in every aspect of what we do with ongoing training and certications
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. Seeing the smiles on my customers faces, hearing my customers say wow i can believe how good this looks and sounds, hearing my customers say that is very cool, hearing how my customers say how easy it is to use the systems

A. You can do that? yes we can.

A. Our first big install over 16 years ago, we were very excited and the customer was very pleased
Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?
A. Companies like ourselves provide so much value and the cheapest system is not always the best system
Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?
A. In the early 90's dolby pro logic surround had just started coming out and the laser disc players. I got my first system and i was blown away hearing sound effects all around me in the comfort of my own home, i knew the first time i experienced surround that that everybody was going to want to experience this in their own home as well
Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.
A. recently we just installed a 65" 1080p 3-D flat panel TV above a fireplace on a motorized wall mount.
Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?
A. We continue with on going training to keep up with the ever changing technologies
Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?
A. computer networking is very popular and will continue, almost everything is connected to a network, TVs, PS3, Wii, Apple TV, Blu-ray Player, X-Box, camera system, ip phone systems, and lets not forget about computers
Q. Describe your most recent project, what it involved, how much it cost, and how long it took.
A. recently we finished a very large Home Automation system that we retro-ed, they system included multi-room audio and video, 3-D home theater, lighting control, control with ipad, in-wall touch screens, the job took about 2 weeks, and cost about 65k

A. We don't we try to use comparable fixed rates for most of our services
Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?
A. I would suggest not to, its a very complicated business that you don't make any money, you get into this business because you love this stuff
