I recently relocated from Las Vegas, NV to Florida. I am a piano and percussion teacher available to take new students. I can teach piano and marimba lessons in my home.
I studied piano at the Hartt School of Music, in Hartford, CT. After one year at Hartt School of Music, I transferred to the University of Illinois, Champaign, IL.
I have studied with Luiz de Moura Castro and Margreet Pfiefer Francis at the Hartt School of Music, and James Lyke and Reid Alexander at the University of Illinois, and percussion with Alexander Lepak.
I have performed solo and ensemble works with the 36th Army Band, the United States Army Element School of Music Faculty Wind Ensemble guest conducted by David Holsinger, the Sierra Vista Symphony, The University of Illinois’ Collegiate Orchestra, the University of Illinois’ Steel Band, the Boston Pops, and the European Ambassadors Band touring Western Europe and performing for the Queen of England.
During my military tour, I performed solo piano works for presidents, first ladies, heads of state, foreign heads of state, and royalties including the Princess of Jordan and the Prince of Saudi Arabia.
I have taught piano lessons to student ranging from school age to senior adults, from any modern method book.
