A. Look for a local, reliable and business oriented website developer. We all have spoken with the real geeks and they are very valuable people, but if they can not understand your needs as a business owner and/or provide you with the feedback you need to make the right decisions about your business website asset... Then you may be taking on a larger headache than a problem solver.
iBusinessLogic offers solutions and feedback with solid ideas that start with a foundation that can be built upon over time. We want to understand your needs, today, tomorrow and next year.
A. I have been a customer, in fact that is why I am in this business. Because when, as a business owner, I tried to get a website project done in a span of over two years with no less than 5 different providers accepting my payments and at the end I had nothing to show for it, I became frustrated and decided to learn what the best way would be for me to get my website up and running. I not only learned how to make my website, I learned so much about how not to make a website and how to make the process less painless and more productive. Now I enjoy the process and I bring my enthusiasm to every project.
A. Ask how many projects they have right now? If your provider has no existing ongoing projects that in my mind is a red flag that you are dealing with someone who is either not serious about the profession, or they are very hard to deal with. Conversely, if they say that they have 25 projects going and they are a small shop like us, then they can not possibly be giving each client the attention they need and they have a cookie cutter mentality. Steady workload and balancing that workload is the key to happy customers.
A. What do I want my website to do?
Do I have a domain name in mind, or do I already own one?
Do I want to be able to add or edit content myself, or have the web guy do it all?
What special features, if I had my dream website, would I want now, or in the future? i.e. is this website capable of expanding to grow with my business?
Do I want to just get it done now and never deal with my website developer again, or would I rather have a long term relationship with a company and a developer that I can depend upon?
Do I have a clear idea in my mind about the content that I want presented to my audience of potential and present customer or clients on my website? Am I able to contribute to that content or do I need a copy writer to do it all for me?
Do I know the questions that my customers want answers to before calling me for my service or product?
