Describe the work
What specific types of photos were shot? Family portraits and individual candid shots. How was the experience at the shoot? Great experience! Todd setup the beautiful outdoor venue location and time that met our requests perfectly. Todd was prepared ahead of time with specific pose suggestions and specific locations for the poses at the venue. He was also open and flexible to last minute shot suggestions from the group. The preplanning and on site experience Todd offered, allowed us to maximize our time, therefore, receiving a broad selection of different full group, sub group and individual shots to choose from. How was the value received for the cost? Value far exceeded the cost.
Say what went well
What impressed you about the photographs? 1. Surprise shots. Todd was taking photos over the entire shoot duration including in between poses. Some of the best shots were taken in between poses when Todd identified and captured special little moments like a kiss or a laugh. 2. High photo quality made all the shots clear and bright in color. No shadows or dark shots. This was also due to Todd planning the perfect time of day with the best lighting. Why should someone else chose this photographer over others? Todd was extremely easy, comfortable and fun to work with. It takes a very special personality, like Todd's, to capture the laughs and attention of every person in a large group ranging in age from infant to adult. Todd was also talented enough to capture a wide variety of different types of shots in one session such as, individual close up candid shots, children shots (had to be goofy to make them laugh), action shots (jumping and running) and also large group shots. He is an all in one photographer.
What about working with the Freelancer was enjoyable
Did their personality help with the photography subjects and results? Photographer personality was the number one important part of our photo shoot. We had men that did not want to smile and infants that were distracted. Todd's personality was so unique that he was able to make the men laugh and the children pay attention at the same time. He made everyone feel comfortable which came through in our final photos that we loved! Were the professional and easy to work with? Very easy to work with and very professional.

Todd has taken both personal photos for me as well as pro ones. His range is amazing and his eye for great candid shots is so acute! He's taken everything from baby/family photos to head shots. He's even taken band performance photos for me. He's so great to work with--makes you feel completely relaxed to do what you need to do in the shoot, he listens well to what you want to achieve with your photos and executes all of that to the nth degree! He's extremely professional and he's so versatile that he can take corporate photos that can be used in publications, brochures or any other collateral just as well as he can take great action shots for athletes or sleek and hip and trendy artistic photos! If you want a guy who can capture your vision, this is the guy--and he won't disappoint! EVER!

Todd did a portrait session outside with our family (2 adults and 4 children). The entire session took about an hour. He was on time and prepared with lots of ideas about what would look good, the best lighting, etc. He took plenty of shots and we were so pleased with the results. We highly recommend Todd for any professional photo services--he is extremely talented!
